Batur Volcano and Lake View
Mount Batur is the most active volcano in Bali and its last eruption was recorded in 2000. The peak sits at 1717 meters above sea level and offers breathtaking views of Lake Batur, black lava from the last explosion. In Bali there are four lakes namely Buyan Lake, Tamblingan, Beratan and Batur. One of the lakes is Batur Lake. Lake Batur is located at an on the right slopes of Mount Batur.
Tirta Empul Temple
One of the busiest water temples in Indonesia, Tirta Empul is a temple considered sacred by Balinese Hindu community. The temple has several holy springs which are said to have been created by The God Indra and believed to be blessed water that could purify those who bathe there. It is considered one of the five most holy temples in all of Bali and is considered one of the holiest water sources in Bali.
Coffee Plantation
If you’re doing a day trip in Kintamani, you should consider making a short stop at the Coffe Plantation. Apart from Kopi Luwak, the plantation also grows many different kinds of herbs and spices. Here, you can also get a close up encounter with the civet (if that’s what you’re looking for). And of course, the best part is sampling all the different types of coffee they produce but also teas from different herbs.
Jungle Swing
If you visit Kintamani to see the view of Mount Batur, it would be nice to stop for a while at the Tegalalang Rice Terrace and visit the Bali swing activities found in the area. They give you great experience where when you swing behind you a very green expanse of rice fields. The location of the Bali swing is located at the very famous Tegalalang rice terrace tourist attraction.
Tegalalang Rice Terrace
The Tegalalang Rice Terrace or Tegalalang Terrace is one of the unique tourist attractions in Bali. The panorama of the rice fields in this area looks very beautiful with terraced terraces on the hill. So it is not surprising that the Tegalalang Rice Terrace is always offered in every Bali tour package from a travel agency.
